On December 5, 2017, management of KMG-Security LLP took part in a working meeting with representatives of «RoyalDutchShell», the Netherlands, organized and conducted by the Department of Corporate Security of NC KazMunayGas JSC.
The invited party was represented by:
- James Hall - vice president of security affairs;
- Malte Duis - regional security manager for Europe and CIS countries;
- Steve Lidstone - Security Manager for Russia, Europe and CIS countries;
- Kuralbek Keldzhanov - Deputy Chairman of the Shell Group in Kazakhstan
The meeting was of introductory nature, where the company's activity, its historical prerequisites for creation, vision and mission, as well as the main directions for further development, ongoing and planned projects were presented. Legislative, as well as distinctive competitive advantages of the company on the market, including specialization and large experience in ensuring the safety of oil and gas facilities were outlined at the meeting.
The parties exchanged views on current state of the security level, both in the oil and gas industry and globally, and existing threats and risks.
They underscored the positive dynamics of the measures taken by the state aimed at creating a favorable investment climate in the fuel and power complex and discussed issues of possible cooperation, including the exchange of experience, training of security personnel.
At the end of the meeting, it was proposed to sign a joint memorandum on cooperation between NC “KazMunayGas” JSC and “RoyalDutchShell” in the security sphere.
